Tuesday January 31rst First Day of School.
Today the kids started school (Winton Primary School). Tara is in Year Two (year one is apparently our kindergarten). Gabe is in Year Five and Brody is in Year Six. They have uniforms that they wear everyday and go to school year round. All the kids and a decent number of parents filled into their auditorium. Then, each teacher stepped forward and called out the children’s names who would be in their class (that is the first time the children found out which teacher they had). The kids were mostly nervous, but a little excited as well. The principle, Andrew Smith is incredibly friendly and helpful!

Happy first day of school, Brody, Gabe, and Tara! You all look so sharp! It's 8:00 am the morning of February 1, and your cousins are heading off to school, too. Andrew has already been there for a good hour, and Anna and Jacob are getting ready to board the bus. We enjoyed catching up on your blog this morning, and we were in awe of the beautiful scenery and the wildlife. Fun to see Tara in Wonderland. : )

Looks like everyone is ship shape and on board!!! Hope all is well for you all. Your pictures are beautiful!!! Another hidden Livermore talent? lol!!! Is Ursula enjoying her job? Are they trying to talk you into becoming permanent Kiwi's?
ReplyDeleteLife in Lafayette is pretty much the same. We are getting 2 male pediatricians from the Frankfort St V's practice in April. Rumor on the street is that none of the "staff" docs like the contract the Sisters of St Francis are bringing to the table. If they only knew what my contract was in Guatemala...they'd be so happy with anything!!!!
Well, the sun is shinning and the temps are extremely good for February in Indiana. Hope you are all having fun!!
