Sunday January 22nd. Nugget Point and back to Winton.
Today the kids slept in really late . . . seven. We drove along the Southern Scenic Route to Nugget Point. It was a very scenic walk up to a very high lighthouse. There were spectacular views of the rocky coastline and we could hear the calls of the NZ Fur Seals below. They were easily visible all along the coast. We stopped in Owaka and ate at the Lumberjack Cafe before trudging back to Winton. I will just let you enjoy the views! They are stunning.
