January 6th Cadbury World! Back to Invercargill

January 6th Cadbury World!  Back to Invercargill
Today we woke up and ate breakfast before walking to Cadbury World!  We were able to learn about the history of chocolate in England and NZ.  The highlight for the kids was getting to eat a lot of chocolate samples.  The highlight for the parents was the one ton of chocolate pouring over a chocolate waterfall!  We walked around a bit before eating lunch in Dunedin and then driving back to Invercargill.  We checked into a hotel and then took the rental-bus back.  We took a scenic route back to our hotel and found out that Invercargill is a beautiful city.
Outside of Cadbury World (it is a real factory).

There were a lot of animatronic displays, inside and out.

The railroad station (just down the street from Cadbury).

Gabe and Tara in front of a cool display.

Tara was more than a little excited to be around this much chocolate.

This is the Octagon in Dunedin-there is an "artist" creating a sculpture out of water bottles.

  1. Wow! I've never seen a flying fox before! : )
Are you saving some chocolate for me, Tara?
    Love you,
